Ever set goals for your business? Or set career goals to land that dream job? Of course you have. You might have used something like SMART (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant and Timed) to draft those goals.
So we often spend a great deal of time planning career goals to get results. But ever noticed that we don’t spend nearly as much time planning our self care goals. Anybody relate?
Do you write a detailed plan about the gym or taking a yoga class? Do you write down your healthy meal plan for the week?
If we did this more often, we would be more likely ton reach those self care goals too.
“Goals that don’t get written down, don’t get done”. That quote gem is all mine.
You need to approach your self care goals in the same way, with structure, planning and scheduling.
Ever sit down to reflect on your personal or self care goals? Do you know what you want to accomplish? Maybe hit the gym 3 days a week or attend a yoga class once a month or eat a plant based diet 5 days a week.
So here are a few tips to turn those personal goals into successes.
- Use your personal planner to pencil in your self care “to dos” just like you do for your business
- Smart phones are a great invention for goal setters, set reminders for your self care “to dos”
- A standard wall calendar is a great way to keep you on track each week, note your scheduled gym days
be inspired, be empowered, be BOLD
Make it an amazing day!
